After almost fourteen years, Anastacia, now a grown-up, returns to Isla Babuyan (Pigland) and reunites with Rose, her mother. As she tries to reconnect with her mother, Anastacia learns of Rose's ill-reputation and sordid story. Despised as the town's whore and mistres, Rose runs and owns the only bar in the island.
