Luísa Villas-Boas is a Portuguese film director focused on developing bold ideas on a shoestring. After moving to London at the age of 18 to study filmmaking, Luísa worked for two years as a covid PA in the film industry and as a film equipment technician. They then returned to Portugal to develop their directorial work and seek a Master’s in film. Luísa’s career goal is to create films with a mission, stories that remind us of the best in humanity and push the limits of cinematic wonder.
