Sinópsis Temporada:
Mientras Gintoki Sakata estaba fuera, los Yorozuya se encontraron con un nuevo líder: Kintoki, el doble de pelo dorado de Gintoki. Para recuperar su antigua posición, Gintoki necesitará la ayuda de los que le rodean, ¡una hazaña problemática cuando nadie le recuerda! Entre Kintoki y Gintoki, ¿quién reclamará el trono como protagonista?
Además, Yorozuya vuelve a viajar al barrio rojo de Yoshiwara para ayudar a una anciana cortesana en su búsqueda de su amante perdido hace tiempo. Aunque el distrito ya no está encadenado bajo la superficie de la tierra, el trío no tarda en conocer las trágicas historias de los habitantes de Yoshiwara que aún les persiguen. Con un flashback tras otro, esta búsqueda hace que Yorozuya sea testigo del amor eterno y lo proteja lo mejor que pueda con sus corazones y almas.
