The Bar Opens: The pianist plays while the head waiter takes measurements... Mobile Idiocy: Two old friends meet and exchange memoirs, but the conversations are conducted with a third person... and a fourth and fifth, for that matter. New Plans: A discreet hint to those in power that the country's intelligentsia may be found in bus shelters—at least for a while longer... God Created Gombert: The "real" creation story, including a plausible explanation that it is highly probable that the Lord is angry! Suddenly, one day, I fell down: Gombert & Flanhart have found the light, and it is literally shining from them! Divergent views are revealed on when one has truly fallen... Lummerkrog as a cultural mediator Pladderballe's main speaker philosophizes about the nature of culture and, as usual, ends up nowhere near anything resembling a conclusion.
