Born in Amsterdam to a Dutch father and a Turkish mother originally from Ankara, Van Eck lived in the Netherlands until the age of 6 and moved to Izmir with his family and grew up here. Van Eck, who played the role of Gaza in the movie Daha / More, written by Onur Saylak, in 2017, received many awards, especially the Promising Young Actor Award at the 24th Adana Golden Boll Film Festival.
Van Eck once again worked with Onur Saylak and Hakan Günday in the movie 'Boga Boga', which was completed in 2022 and will be released in 2023.
