¿Quién es Fred Marzino?

Fred Marzino was a retired American professional wrestler, best known for his appearances in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) during the 1970s and 1980s. He began his career in the World Wide Wrestling Federation (WWWF) in 1976, but initially failed to catch the attention of the then-owner, Vince McMahon Sr., and was placed as a "jobber" (a wrestler primarily used to lose to more prominent talent). In his first matches, he lost twice in the same night and then disappeared from WWWF programming.

Marzino returned in 1978, suffering a loss to Butcher Vachon, but he achieved his first victory in 1979 when he teamed with SD Jones to defeat another jobber tag-team. In 1980, Marzino suffered a serious injury in a match against Ken Patera, being carried out on a stretcher. Although he continued to work house shows, his appearances on WWF programming were sporadic, with one of his most notable wins being against the masked Mr. X.

Later, Marzino left the WWF to work for International Championship Wrestling (ICW), but only participated in one match, losing to Dory Funk, Jr. He returned to the WWF a month later, where he wrestled his last match, losing to George Steele. After that, Marzino retired from professional wrestling and has not been involved in the wrestling business since.
